The shop's concept is to provide discriminating customers with the finest antique furniture, great antiques, fine art and unique Midwest crafts.  The concept continues by displaying this unusual mix in a refurbished 1917 river home overlooking the Mississippi River.

This town where Buffalo Bill Cody walked the streets and riverboat pilots lived and worked still echo's a time when the river was the main artery of our Country.

The folks at Mississippi Cottage Antiques will locate and/or refinish requested pieces of furniture.  The shop has several contributing artists who display their works on original oils, prints, watercolors, original potteries and photography.  Unusual crafts round out the offering at this unique Iowa shop.
